Parlor is not just about the food—it’s also about the experience. With two well-appointed bar areas and a spacious layout that includes an enclosed outdoor seating area, it’s an ideal location for socializing over refreshing drinks. From hard seltzers and ciders to an impressive selection of wines and signature cocktails like the Banana on Rye and Norwegian Mule, there’s something for everyone to sip and savor.
Throughout my visits, I've been consistently impressed by the ambiance and the variety of choices available. The energy during the weekend can be palpable, so I recommend trying to visit during less busy times for a more relaxed dining experience. Despite the occasional crowd, service at Parlor is swift, and the staff is friendly. Recent challenges regarding customer service have shown how seriously management takes feedback, further enhancing the venue's welcoming atmosphere.
For those who enjoy communal dining, Parlor is a fantastic choice. Its layout encourages sharing, allowing you to sample dishes from multiple vendors, all in one spot. The pricing, while on the higher side for a food court, reflects the quality of the offerings, making it well worth the experience. As I indulged in the totchos from Deez Nachos, I found them not only delightful but also substantial, embodying a perfect blend of crunch and flavor that left me craving more.
In summary, Parlor isn't merely a dining destination; it's an enjoyable culinary journey that caters to all palates. With its eclectic mix of food vendors, carefully crafted cocktails, and a community vibe, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to explore what Kansas City has to offer. I can't wait to return and try some of the other culinary delights waiting to be discovered!

Parlor is an indoor food court with restaurants that change from time to time and with two bar areas. I've frequented Parlor several times over the years and it's a great place to grab food especially if you're in a group and everyone has different tastes. It's also a good spot to grab a drink. They have lots of seating including an enclosed outdoor area. If you're having a party they do have a downstairs area that can be reserved in addition to areas within Parlor. They will also sometimes have live music so check their socials to stay up to date. The restaurants within Parlor rotate but the one OG and probably my favorite is Mother Clucker. You can order online from any of the restaurants or use the kiosks set up at each one if someone isn't available to take your order. There are two bar areas, one upstairs and one downstairs. They do tend to get busy quickly but the service has always been pretty fast. I like trying all the cocktails. The old fashioned is one of my favorites.

Wow. A little customer service goes a LONG DANG WAY! I recently posted a review about a disappointing experience of being overcharged by the bartender who was dismissive when I pointed it out, first telling me I was mistaken and then, when I showed her the receipt, said "weird, I'll let them know" and walked off without refunding me or even apologizing for the mistake. Needless to say, it wasn't a great interaction (or even a well made drink) but the experience was an anomaly- I've gone to and enjoyed Parlor many times (and had several very well made drinks), but an experience like that can sour someone on a place... After posting my review the VP or operations left his phone number, asking me to call. I did, because I thought they should know they were overcharging for their drinks. He apologizing profusely and telling me they would be having a meeting about the price discrepancies and also discussing how to treat a customer in that kind of situation. He thanked me in a very sincere way for bringing this to their attention and also sent me a gift certificate. So again, the interaction with my bartender wasn't great but the way management is handling it speaks volumes and I am looking forward to enjoying some food and drink on their awesome patio sometime very soon.

First time visiting Parlor after hearing several recommendations over the years and it did not disappoint. This is such a cool place. I made the mistake of visiting for dinner/drinks on a Saturday evening, and it was beyond busy/crowded. I would love to come back during a weekday and have a quieter experience! Tons of places to eat and all of the restaurants looked incredible. I love that each place has a limited menu, which makes it so much easier to pick something to order. I will say that most of the menu items across the different restaurants are pretty pricey, especially for food-truck-type meals. Most menu items are $15-$20. I decided to order at Deez Nachos and it was absolutely delicious. I ordered their totchos (nachos with a tater tot base) and it was SO good. They were $17 total and very filling. Overall, a really neat concept of a boujee mall food-court vibe. Great experience!

I loved this place! I was able to order my favorite KC pizza at Johnny Jo's, my sons were able to get Mother Clucker! And LOVED their food. Great concept, spacious layout and great atmosphere to watch the Chiefs play. Next time I will try some of the other dining options, I WILL be back!

I love food halls and highly recommend for groups because everyone can likely find something they enjoy! Their prices are pretty reasonable and I have never had trouble finding seating between the two floors and outdoor seating. My husband and I enjoying ordering one thing from 2-3 restaurants and splitting to try new places/dishes each time we visit!

How has Parlor been open for five years? I remember my first visit well, when I was impressed but felt I had overpaid for a food court. I still agree a bit with my first review, and I'm not sure if it's inflation, or age, or the slow passing of time, or a combination of the three, but I find myself coming back to Parlor again and again, and while I can't say it's a perfect experience I really do have a good time each visit. That alone is worth the added star. Now let's get into it. Food: The food here is all around good. I love that they rotate, and now that it's been a few years I can say that they do indeed change vendors. Not quickly, but slowly as businesses grow and move out they are replaced by new up and comers and honestly everything I've had here has been great. Of course there will be some hits and misses, but I do think that the bar is set pretty high for these vendors, as a whole. Service: Since it's a food hall you typically order at a kiosk and then head to your table to wait for a text that your food is ready. I actually really like this system. The only flaw is when you need more sauce, or something random and have to flag someone down. That can be a bit of a struggle depending on the spot you ordered from. Also, the bar tends to get overly crowded and it's HARD to get a drink sometimes. I kind of wish you could also order from a kiosk here, though I get why that isn't possible. Ambiance: It's still a hip and fun place to explore, and given they are five years in and I still feel this way is pretty darn remarkable to me. It's still cool, still hip, and still fun. They manage to keep it pretty clean for a bustling place, and overall the ambiance really makes this a fun place to visit.
